Banana

There is definitely some actual banana in this shake, but not much it seems. That’s disappointing because of all the fruits you could put in a milkshake, I feel like bananas particularly lend themselves to going with the rest of the milkshake experience. Mostly from a texture perspective but also because banana is a fairly subtle flavour so having more of it isn’t going to become overpowering or anything.

The shake itself is also quite thin. The lack of a spoon didn’t seem like an issue until I realised that I needed something with which to eat the whipped cream and the lone slice of banana. Also it felt weirdly small and ended well before I was expecting it to.

Banana shakes aren’t common and I feel like this one gives them a bit of a bad name. It’ll pass if you desperately want a banana milkshake but overall I think its a missed opportunity.
