The Red Carpet Treatment

A strawberry and white-chocolate flavoured shake, complete with a small block of red velvet cake on top. Tastes distinctly of strawberry although it’s a tad disappointing that the flavour seems to come mostly from syrup rather than from actual strawberries. The white chocolate on the other hand is subtle but definitely a plus once you notice it.

The cake is good but confuses me a little. I get quite a strong coconut feeling from it but I’m not sure why, I expect it contains coconut and adopted some of its texture. Similarly the shake itself has a texture that is a bit unusual. Some bits were a little watery and while others were a little clumpy, as if it were ice-cream that had been blended only 70% of the way.

The spoon is a bit too big for me personally but the straw is decent and on a whole I’m pretty happy with the presentation (especially for for a takeaway).
