Caramelised Coconut

The topping is literally caramelised coconut shavings. Its amazing. The cream underneath doesn’t taste of much but that’s actually good I think because it doesn’t interfere with the coconuttiness.

The shake itself is not the creamiest I’ve had but its pretty good and the caramel comes through quite strongly. It also has lots of bits of…something…in it. Some of that was coconut (unsurprisingly) but some of it was more crunchy. It could be honeycomb? I’m not sure. It was a tasty surprise regardless and like any good magic trick, I think the mystery actually adds to the experience.

Finally, many points were earned here for being served on a plate, with a serviette, a spoon, and a huge straw (all the better for getting those coconut and/or honeycomb bits)!
