Lemon Meringue

This shake gets major points for being instantly recognisable as lemon-curd flavour, right from the first sip. Not only that but I’m fairly certain the shake contains actual lemon meringue pie blended in. At the very least it tasted strongly of lemon curd and definitely had crushed bits of base which, combined with this shake being on the thicker-end of the spectrum, makes for a very good texture.

Crumbs or chunks usually mean blocked straws but thankfully I was provided with a large straw and so managed to make it through the experience blockage-free.

Usually I’d complain about the glass not being served on a plate or serviette but as you can see in the photo the glass wasn’t filled to the brim (whether to avoid spilling or to cut costs…we will never know) so it didn’t end up mattering anyway.
