About

I like milkshakes. I like them enough that when I "go out for drinks" with friends, what I get is usually a milkshake. Occasionally more than one. My strategy for selecting milkshakes at restaurants has long been to select the one that sounds the most unique and interesting. Every restaurant under the sun sells chocolate milkshakes, but very few sell turkish delight milkshakes, or mint, or shortbread.

The milkshake directory started as a way to enumerate all the interesting milkshakes that I've tried. Possibly in a way that others might find useful for interesting.

I try to post a new shake every two weeks, usually on Sundays.

Ratings

I'm not trying to say which milkshakes are the best, but I can certainly label ones that disappointed me or that were particularly good. The possibilities are:
Disappointing
This milkshake was particularly disappointing for some reason. It could taste bad, it could cost wildly more than I think it's worth, anything. This does not happen often.
Pretty good
This milkshake was good. Since I like milkshakes, most of them fall into this category. Its the standard "that was tasty, I'd get that again" category.
Top-tier
This milkshake stood out as one that I particularly enjoyed. I will need to apply some self-restraint to avoid getting this again the next time I visit the same restaurant (even if there are other tantalising options on the menu).
